Indonesia Volcano & Tsunami

Question: What caused the Dec. 2018 Tsunami in Indonesia?

Answer: A volcano erupted at Anak Krakatau (Krakatoa). This volcanic eruption (presumably) caused an underwater landslide. The underwater landslide (perhaps) resulted into a giant wave. That’s how the volcano (presumably) triggered the tsunami. Experts point out that underwater landslides are indeed difficult to predict. This could explain why the tsunami struck without warning!
